tiki tiki tembo

so i made it to chicago, yay!!!!!! i only had a few problems along the way.

1. i woke up at 4:30 this morning, which was the time i should have been at the airport (whoops)

i managed to make it in time by yeilding at stop lights (whoops again) and maxing out my car's spedometer the whole way there (it only goes up to 85, so it wasn't too bad).

2. after frantically rushing, parking, catching the shuttle bus, and checking in, i realize i forgot one of my bags on the shuttle bus. so i rush to the phone and call lost and found. the driver brings it back in time for me to run to my gate and board the plane.

3. after finding willie's place and hanging out, we took the train to downtown so he could go to class and i could wander around. he rambles off some directions back to his place and then asks if i can remeber all that. hell no. i told him to call me when he's out of class. then i realize i forgot to bring my phone with me. sucky sucks mcsuckerson. so i wander around for a while, my shoes are starting to break cuz they're cheap shit, so i decided to eat something for the first time today. look what i found, ilenia and erik!!!!

eventually i found my way back to willie's place. i'm learning public transportation fast.

willie and his roommates are having some people over now. we'll see how my social anxiety works out tonight.
